The Right of Freedom

Freedom in Wikipedia has two entry so far: A Philosophical Idea:the ability to act without restraint, or the ability to have access to particular resources without constraint or Political Right:the right, or the capacity and ability, of self-determination as an expression of the individual will. Freedom defined by my church is:”being able to not to the things you do not like”. I discover this definition to be interesting, because it is related to the first philosophical idea, which leaves me no necessary rights of expressing the individual will.

Practically speaking, I could not express myself freely in the church, no liberty. How does this restraining of rights help the growth of the church, boosting the faith of the people? Simple: follow your leaders, listen to them, obey them even when they are wrong. Even when they are wrong, and you are willingly doing it? I don’t think so, for a normal person, they need to use wisdom and politics to get it right. So why is my church advocating this idea? How does G12 has anything to do with it?
